Noooooooooooooooo it's sooooooooooo cold here!!!!!!
We thought Vang Viang was cold but this is getting silly (lucky we have our self made / dyed Vientianne silk scarves with us! Emma bravely set off to find a guest house on our arrival but after 2 hours searching settled on the first that we had come across. Nothing really wrong with it but not really what we have been used to so moved out the next morning and settled into a much nicer one in the centre of town.

Explored the museums and the wonderful Wats but mostly relaxed and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Ate down by the river several times which was great. Unfortunately though, I managed to get severe food poisoning which resulted in me vomiting (and the other) with the greatest violence I have ever known. Succeeded in passing out twice (banging my head the second time and giving myself a golf ball sized lump on my forehead). So, stuck in bed for 4 days managing only to eat on the fourth day ..... ho hum !!!!!
